My name is Magali — and you’re probably having trouble pronouncing it, right? No worries, there’s nothing wrong with you. It’s just a French name.

A little Frenchie with Spanish blood in a Latin organization here in Canada: what could be more normal? That’s the beauty of dance: it brings everyone together!

In Canada, people call me Maggie, or Frenchie Maggie. I’ve been dancing since I was a kid and have tried severa styles: jazz, contemporary, classical, bachata, dancehall, hip hop, bachata, salsa, and reggaeton. Because you can never have enough dance experience!

As an event manager myself, I decided to embark on this adventure with the Victoria Latin Dance Association to put my skills to good use (hopefully).

I have finally combined my two passions: dance and event planning! I can’t wait to volunteer and be part of this wonderful team!
