π FREE HISPANIC HERITAGE MONTH CELEBRATION β HALLOWEEN NIGHT! π Join for a special FREE community celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month on Halloween night β Saturday, October 31, 2026! This event is being independently organized with partial support from the Small Neighbourhood Grants program. While Iβm also the President of the Victoria Latin Dance Association (VLDA), this is a separate community initiative and is not a VLDA-funded event. The grant is helping offset some of the costs of keeping the event free. Donations are gratefully accepted to help with additional expenses such as instructors, venue rental, insurance and other event costs. β€οΈ π Broad Street Studio β οΈ Accessibility: Please note that stairs are required to access the studio. π EVENT SCHEDULE πͺ Doors open at 7:45 PM π 8:00β9:00 PM β All Levels Bachata Class β¨ 9:00β9:45 PM β LATIN DANCE PERFORMANCE SHOWCASE An incredible lineup of local dancers will be bringing solo, partner and group performances to the floor! β Maggie β Solo Performance π₯ And a couple more performances may be joining the lineup! πΆ 9:45 PMβ12:00 AM β Social Dancing Salsa, Bachata & Kizomba/Urban Kiz/Semba in a 2β2β2 rotation, with a few Merengue songs mixed in! ποΈ FREE ADMISSION DONATIONS WELCOME β TICKET REQUIRED ( PLEASE SHOW TICKET AT THE DOOR) Space is very limited, so a free ticket is required for entry and must be shown at the door. There are two ticket options: π FULL EVENING β 40 TICKETS AVAILABLE Doors open at 7:45 PM. Please check in by 8:00 PM to guarantee your spot. πΆ SOCIAL ONLY β 10 TICKETS AVAILABLE If additional space becomes available after the performances, additional social-dance walk-ins may be admitted, but entry without a ticket cannot be guaranteed and will depend on capacity. The venue has a maximum capacity of 60 people, with part of that capacity reserved for performers and the volunteer team. π COSTUMES WELCOME! It is Halloween after all! Costumes are welcome but completely optional. Whether youβre dressing up or not, dressing light and comfortably for dancing is recommended. π§ Please bring a water bottle to stay hydrated throughout the evening. Come celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month, Latin dance and culture, and incredible local performers with a special Halloween night of dancing, performances and community! πππΊ Only 50 public tickets available β secure yours early!

As a community collective non-profit association, we truly value your continuous support. All funds are reinvested to improve the quality of our gatherings and to create even more memorable experiences for you. It costs approximately $4,000 to run basic events for the year, covering costs like insurance, permits, equipment, venue rentals, administration, and website maintenance.
