🎶 Beginner Lesson: Salsa Rueda with Ryan Kim and Ana Paula
Join us for an unforgettable evening of dancing, music, and community at beautiful Songhees Plaza. Whether you’re taking your very first dance class or you’re a seasoned social dancer, everyone is welcome.
We’ll kick off the evening with a beginner-friendly lesson—no partner or experience required—followed by a lively outdoor social featuring a mix of Salsa and Bachata, with Merengue available by request.

📍 Location: Songhees Plaza (near the Johnson Street Bridge, beside the Delta Hotel)
🕓 Schedule
• 6:00 PM – Doors Open (permit-controlled event area)
• 6:15–7:00 PM – Intro lesson salsa rueda with Ryan Kim and Ana Paula
• 7:00–10:00 PM – Salsa & Bachata Social Dancing
💵 Admission
• $5 – Students & Seniors (65+) with valid ID
• $10 – Financial Accessibility Rate (available upon request at check-in)
• $15 – General Admission
• Cash only
☀️ What to Bring
• Water bottle (water will also be available for purchase)
• Hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen
• Comfortable dance shoes suitable for outdoor surfaces

As a non-profit organization, admission fees help cover permits, insurance, equipment, venue costs, and other expenses associated with running our outdoor summer programming. Your support helps us continue offering community dance events throughout the season, and we sincerely appreciate it.

As a community collective non-profit association, we truly value your continuous support. All funds are reinvested to improve the quality of our gatherings and to create even more memorable experiences for you. It costs approximately $4,000 to run basic events for the year, covering costs like insurance, permits, equipment, venue rentals, administration, and website maintenance.
