Mariana Rodriguez

My name is Mariana Rodriguez, and I’m thrilled to join the Victoria Latin Dance Association as an Administrative Assistant. I was born in Mexico City, where Latin music has always been a joyful part of my life. Even now, hearing salsa, bachata, or any upbeat rhythm instantly lifts my mood and makes me want to dance.

I recently graduated in Human Resources & Leadership, and I love bringing organization, teamwork, and a results-driven mindset to everything I do. I’m an easygoing and positive person who enjoys helping others, creating structure, and making sure things run smoothly behind the scenes, I’m excited to support the VLDA community through this role.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending quality time with my family and hanging out with friends. I’m also a big fan of shopping, going to the cinema, and traveling. Giving back to the community is important to me, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to contribute to a space that celebrates culture, movement, and connection. I can’t wait to support the VLDA team, meet new people, and be part of a community that brings so much joy through dance!

My guiding motto is: “Be patient and compassionate with yourself; progress is not a straight path.
